বাদকুল্লা সম্পর্কে (About Badkulla)

বাদকুল্লা, পশ্চিমবঙ্গের নদিয়া জেলার হাঁসখালি ব্লকের অন্তর্গত একটি জনবহুল ও ঐতিহাসিক শহর। শহরটির ভৌগোলিক অবস্থান ২৩.৩০৩৬° উত্তর অক্ষাংশ এবং ৮৮.৫৩০২° পূর্ব দ্রাঘিমাংশে, সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে মাত্র ৯ মিটার উচ্চতায়। একসময় অঞ্জনা নদী এই অঞ্চলের প্রাণরূপে প্রবাহিত হত, যার তীরে বসে কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে কবিতা রচনা করেছিলেন বলে ধারণা করা হয়। বর্তমানে নদীটির প্রবাহ অনেকটাই হ্রাস পেলেও এর ঐতিহাসিক গুরুত্ব অপরিসীম। শহরের সংস্কৃতির মূল কেন্দ্র দুর্গাপূজা সহ বিভিন্ন ঐতিহ্যবাহী উৎসব, যা প্রতি বছর অসংখ্য মানুষকে আকর্ষণ করে। বদকুল্লায় রয়েছে প্রাচীন মন্দির, প্রাণবন্ত হাটবাজার, আধুনিক শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান এবং সক্রিয় সামাজিক সংগঠন। কৃষি, স্থানীয় ব্যবসা এবং হস্তশিল্প এখানকার অর্থনীতির প্রধান ভিত্তি। শহরের সুসংগঠিত অবকাঠামো, স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্র এবং যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থার কারণে এটি ক্রমশ উন্নতির পথে এগিয়ে চলেছে।
